I already have an older OBDII scanner but that one would not link with my 2021 Jeep Renegade when a "Service engine" error message and icon showed up the dash. I plugged it in to the Jeep and it immediately read error code P0128 cooling system. Since the engine temps all display normal on the HUD during normal driving I suspect an intermittent sensor issue (which are common issues with this Jeep).
