I bought this for hiking during the summer. It seems fairly comfortable and lightweight. The latches seems to fit very well. It does seem to hold its shape while you put it on your leg. One of the things that I would say is that adjustability may not be as good because my leg is fairly short so it does cause some, bending in terms of the padding.
